IAS Advisory is delighted to announce the promotion of two outstanding legal practitioners, Mr Chumphon Macharoen and Mr Supachot Prasankiattiraj, to the firm’s partnership.

In practice for 19+ years, Chumphon, head of our renowned litigation, dispute resolution & arbitration department, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the most complex legal disputes. He is a go-to resource for recent judgments and ongoing case and regulatory developments in Thailand, and his legal acumen, foresight and versatility have become hallmarks of the practice he has run since the firm’s launch.

Supachot is a key member of our real estate, corporate & commercial/M&A, and litigation, dispute resolution & arbitration teams. He coordinates wide-ranging regulatory and transactional matters and is also one of the firm’s data privacy & personal data protection leaders. Supachot brings unmatched strategic insight to our clients, demonstrating exceptional skill whether in high-stakes mergers, resolving complex real estate issues, leading negotiations, or facilitating transformative business transactions.

Announcement | Tamonwan promoted to Senior Associate

We are delighted to announce the promotion of key team member Ms Tamonwan Phansaiy to the position of Senior Associate.

In practice for nine years, Tamonwan works out of our litigation, dispute resolution & arbitration practice, where she now takes on additional leadership responsibilities.

Tamonwan joined shortly after IAS Advisory’s inception and has been central to it establishing itself as one of Thailand’s most recognised firms.

She has advised and represented domestic and international clients across a wide range of matters. Her expertise spans corporate and commercial disputes, civil and criminal litigation, domestic and international arbitration, administrative law, and family law.

Tamonwan is highly adept at alternative dispute resolution, especially arbitration, mediation, and corporate litigation. She provides crucial assistance in court-led mediation sessions and is an expert at negotiating settlement agreements and securing full payment of outstanding debts.

She continues to be an important resource for contract management at the firm as well, advising on bankruptcy and business reorganisation, consumer protection, international trade disputes, employment protection legislation, and intellectual property.

Anuwat supports new “Lawyers Relationship Devt Program – 1st Gen”

Last Friday (12th September 2025), IAS Advisory co-founding partner Mr Anuwat Ngamprasertkul was honoured to serve as a speaker at the prestigious “Lawyers Relationship Development Program – 1st Generation,” organised by Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC).

During this full-day session, Anuwat:

– Shared practical techniques and real-life experience in case management and cross-examination
– Engaged with an audience of law firm partners, senior lawyers from government agencies, in-house counsel, and senior executives/co-founders from the business sector

He also led an interactive workshop, where participants:

– Practiced applying strategies and tactics to real-world situations

IAS Advisory key sponsor for prestigious “Thailand ADR Week 2024”

IAS Advisory was delighted to support “Thailand Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Week 2024,” which took place in the Grand Ballroom of the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel from 18th-20th September. Distinguished guests included Police Colonel Mr Tawee Sodsong, Thailand’s Justice Minister, and Ms Pongsawat Neelayothin, Permanent Secretary of Thailand’s Ministry of Justice.

The theme of this year’s event was “Emerging Trends in ADR,” with sessions focused on charting the future of dispute resolution through international and regional developments. Attendees gained global perspectives and insights into regional and international ADR trends, best practices, and emerging legal frameworks. They heard expert analysis from renowned ADR practitioners, mediators and arbitrators, discussed the latest research, and learnt about cutting-edge approaches and upcoming initiatives and projects.

IAS Advisory co-founder Mr Anuwat Ngamprasertkul co-hosted the Day 2 session, “The ASEAN Way: Implications for Disputes along the OBOR (One Belt, One Road),” in which he discussed steps for conflict resolution and how to control potential damage.

He showed stakeholders how to be proactive in avoiding disputes arising from projects along the OBOR in ASEAN countries, and emphasised the need for clear, well-drafted contracts that align with local and international laws and incorporate pre-agreed dispute resolution mechanisms, such as mediation or arbitration clauses, which can help address conflicts before they escalate.

IAS Advisory’s dispute resolution, litigation & arbitration head Mr Chumphon Macharoen also joined, together with associates Mr Tataraj Indrasukhsri and Mr Tanadej Kanitthanon.
