IAS Advisory is delighted that Chambers & Partners, which publishes the world’s leading guides to the legal profession, has recognised the firm again for its capabilities in Corporate/M&A in the latest edition of its prestigious Global Guide.
The accolade follows the firm’s inclusion earlier this year in Chambers’ region specific Asia-Pacific Guide, and is further reward for the efforts of its Corporate/M&A team.
Chambers Global only ranks practice areas that are renowned for cross-border work. Firms ranked in Chambers Global are considered experts in their field and the go-to contact for international legal buyers, attracting clients from right across the spectrum (from large corporations to early-stage startups) who are particularly interested in firms able to advise them in multi-jurisdictional mandates.
Chambers’ Global Guide rankings represent the top firms and lawyers in over 200 jurisdictions around the world. Its research is based on interviews with competitors and peers, and on feedback received directly from clients and those who purchase legal services. A Chambers ranking is considered to be the legal industry’s definitive mark of excellence, and shows that firms and practitioners have stood up to the most rigorous independent research process of any legal directory on the market and emerged as a leader in their respective field.
The firm’s Corporate/M&A department is led by co-founding partner Ms Siripen Kulworakulpitak and contains star senior associate Ms Sukontharat Nobnom.
The Legal 500 is regarded as the world’s largest legal referral guide, assessing the strengths of lawyers and law firms in more than 150 jurisdictions. Its comprehensive research programme is updated annually to give clients the most precise and up-to-date survey of legal markets globally.
Each of the firm’s co-founders, Mr Ittinant Suwanjutha, Mr Anuwat Ngamprasertkul and Ms Siripen Kulworakulpitak is featured in the Asia-Pacific 2025 guide, while Ittinant is highlighted as a “Leading Partner” for his elite capabilities and position at the top of Thailand’s high-end real estate sector.
Senior Associates Mr Chumphon Macharoen and Mr Supachot Prasankiattiraj are also featured for their contribution to the firm’s success.
The Legal 500’s rankings are based on a range of criteria, and its researchers aim to highlight the practice area teams who are providing the most cutting edge and innovative advice in legal markets today.
IAS Advisory is delighted that the quality of its work and the high performance of its lawyers over the past 12 months have been recognised once again.

“Law Chula Fest” takes place every academic year and aims to raise awareness, disseminate legal knowledge, and generate public engagement with the faculty. This year’s event, which took place on Saturday 26th October, saw more than 1,500 people participate.
The theme of Law Chula Fest 2024 was “Tomorrow Law” and activities included competitions, creative work contests, debates, exhibitions, mock court dramas (to help participants understand the Thai justice system), role-plays, and talk shows (discussing, among other things, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the future of legal practice).
There was also guidance and other simulated classroom activities to help show prospective students what studying at Chula’s prestigious Faculty of Law is like.
Assistant Professor Dr Pareena Srivanit, Dean of the Faculty of Law, presided over the opening ceremony and presented awards and certificates to the winners of each competition.

Lavanya, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Laws degree at the distinguished UK university, was a pleasure to get to know during her time with us last month.
With a diverse educational background spanning Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Europe, Lavanya was able to bring a global perspective to her assignments and to discussions with the firm’s legal personnel. Her prior experience in leadership roles in different legal-focused academic societies allowed her to settle in and contribute straight from the off.
As part of her internship, Lavanya gained exposure to intra-ASEAN cross-border transactions involving Thai companies, researched and prepared updates regarding recent changes to the law in Thailand, attended a knowledge sharing session with quantum experts from a corporate/cyber investigations unit, and helped our attorneys translate various Thai laws and regulations into the English language, among other activities.
Siratan impressed everybody with his assuredness and positivity and his ability to get the job done, and Nantikarn and Kwachuen proved themselves highly professional and capable on assignments as well as active and enthusiastic members of our team.
IAS Advisory has so far welcomed 10 students onto its internship and training programme since last year. The firm is committed to providing opportunities for growth and giving young people a platform to learn and make a difference.
